I slept in this morning, then got ready to go to the beach. Fruszi and I had made plans to go to the beach right near the ship. She called and we agreed to meet in a few minutes. Apparently we missed each other though, I went to check on her room when she went to the gangway where I’d just left. After waiting about 10 minutes, I decided that I really needed a beach day and didn’t want to wait any longer, so I left and found my way to the beach. It was very crowded, but I found a spot off to the side around some rocks. It was kind of nice actually. When I was laying down, and looked around, I saw nothing but rocks, sand, water, and sky. I alternated between laying out reading and swimming for a few hours; I may have finally gotten some sun this contract now! Next time we’re there, unless I end up going to Olympia on a tour, I am definitely going back to that little beach!
After I got back, I had just enough time to shower and watch Sleeping Beauty before dinner. Unbirthday party was our theme tonight. It wasn’t the best night, but most of the kids had a good time. Playing “Islands” was a bit tough because they all got a bit violent trying to scramble onto the stools, and they were claiming other people were cheating during pin the candle on the cake. No one was really hurt though, and once we talked to them and threatened to not do any more activities tonight, their behavior improved.
