sea day before Quebec

May 9, 2013: Sea Day
It was a busy sea day today. Kids were there from open until close every session. The family of 4 came up a lot, so it was kind of hectic as I was with the kids, Beth was starting to prepare to leave and Carly was making sure she had this YPC thing down before Beth left. So, it was kind of a long day. Luckily the family didn’t stay for long at night, so Camp Night was quiet. All we really got around to was making our bear-ear headbands and decorating our bears. We didn’t even go on a bear hunt!

After work, we quickly got formal-ized and met a group in the Ocean Bar. I think everyone was pretty excited to be out around the ship and just hanging out somewhere other than the OB. We listened to the Neptunes’ last songs and then just hung out there for a while chatting before going up to the Crow’s Nest where we sat and chatted some more, only to different music and in separate groups because the chairs are group together in tight circles. I left kind of early because I was tired and they started discussing plans for tomorrow’s overnight in Quebec. I’m staying on-ship because we haven’t worked out this IPM thing yet, and Beth and Carly have known each other longer and Beth is leaving so they need to hang out.
